How To Get Rich Quick Investing in Real Estate

First of all, if you are hoping to start investing in real estate with this goal in mind, chances are you will fail.  Everyone wants to get rich quick and take shortcuts to get there but the reality is, the higher the rewards, the higher the risk, the more likely to lose money and then get frustrated and possibly give up on your dreams of investing in real estate.

You can become rich with real estate but as with anything you do, it takes some time and practice to become good at what you do.  Once you become good at a smaller investment, you will have the knowledge and skills to take on a larger investment with confidence.   Investing in a starter home may sound less rewarding than investing in a large apartment building; however there is always a chance that the opposite may become reality.

Buying a property that will cash flow $50 a month may not seem as appealing as a property that will cash flow $2,000 a month but buying a property that cash flows $50 a month is definitely a better investment than a property that ends up cash flowing -$50 a month.  A starter home is less risky as it will likely require a smaller down payment, there is typically a high demand for starter homes and there are fewer tenants to deal with.

Remember as long as you are buying a property that is producing positive cash flow, regardless of the amount, and that property is appreciating in value, you have found a good investment.  You don’t get rich by waiting to find the perfect investment; you get rich by taking action and getting started.  You may not get rich overnight, but over time you are likely to find that the profits from your real estate investments will multiply.
